DESCRIPTION:Annual State Convention 2023 \nOctober 14\, 2023 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (Doors open at 9:00)\n \nWest Virginians for Life invites young and old alike to attend its Annual State Pro-Life Convention on Saturday\, October 14\, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God in Fairmont\, WV. Doors open at 9 a.m. The theme is “Making Abortion Unthinkable”. For $35\, a buffet lunch is included. College students and teens pay only $15. Groups of 10 or more pay only $25 per person (adults) or $10 per person (college students/teens). \nKeynote Speaker Dr. Randall O’Bannon has served as the director of education and research for National Right to Life since 1994. Over the past thirty years\, he has tracked and analyzed the latest abortion statistics\, monitored the activity of Planned Parenthood\, and studied the risks of chemical and surgical abortion methods – sharing this information in fact sheets\, lectures\, articles\, and interviews. Dr. O’Bannon is also the director of the National Right to Life Academy\, which trains young pro-life activists to be informed and effective advocates for human life at every age\, condition\, and stage of development. \nFor more details about speakers\, workshops\, and travel accommodations\, please click on the Brochure link\, below. \nIn the meantime\, West Virginians for Life pays for convention expenses through advertising in the annual Convention Resource Manual that is given to all who attend and advertisers around the state as well as being shared at fairs\, chapter events\, etc. Please consider purchasing an ad in the manual.
