The  28th Annual Mother’s Day Walk-for-Life took place in Morgantown on Saturday, April 27 with about 80 walkers and $2,300 raised.  Channel 12 WBOY did a story on the 6:00 and 11:00 news that day.  Thanks to all who participated.  Get a load of the picture album.

The Ohio County Chapter of WVFL was host to a Walk-for-Life in Wheeling on Saturday, May 4.  Local TV station WTRF covered it.

The Mineral County Chapter of West Virginians for Life invites all to their Walk on Saturday, May 11.  Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at the South End Park in Keyser.  Call 304-289-5676 for more information.

May 11 is the Walk day in Monroe County.  Join the chapter on that Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Monroe County Library in Union, WV.  Call 304-772-4653 for more information.

Saturday, June 8 is the date to set aside for the Upshur County Walk-for-Life in Buckhannon.  For more information, call 304-472-1947.

Also on Saturday, June 8, if you live in the Raleigh County area, please join the 11:00 a.m. Walk in Beckley at Word Park.  The event is posted on facebook.   Call 304-683-5038 for more information.

If you are not able to participate, you can still pledge or sponsor a walker.  The pledges go a long way in helping to save the lives of the unborn.
