West Virginia Teens for Life is sponsoring a Pro-Life Essay Contest for students from grades 7 to 12.  The essay should address the statement:  Describe why you have a pro-life position on abortion.  We will be providing prizes and cash for the top three winners in each category:  Junior Contest – grades 7 to 9 and Senior Contest – grades 10 to 12.

First Place – $200

Second Place – $150

Third Place – $100

All essays are to be submitted by e-mail.  The winning essays from each contest will be printed in the West Virginians for Life quarterly newspaper, Life Matters.  The winner of the Senior Essay Contest will be invited to read the winning essay at the West Virginians for Life Rally scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in the Lower Rotunda of the State Capitol.

Please use the guidelines for the essays being submitted to the contest and complete the registration form.  If you are a teacher or a pastor, find letters here addressed to you.
