West Virginians for Life is making plans for the 2nd Annual Golf FORE Life! Tournament. It will be held on Monday, June 23, Bridgeport Country Club, noon tee time.

This big fund-raising event will help us do our important educational work. The First Annual West Virginians for Life Golf Tournament held last year at Bridgeport Golf Course was a great success. We were honored to have Buffalo Bills Football Center/Guard, Doug Legursky, and other athletes on the course to join in advancing the cause for life. Legursky and his family gave their inspirational witness about their experience with abortion at the awards dinner following the tournament.

We invite you to join in helping to make the 2nd annual tournament a success. If you are a golfer, please consider coming to play golf with Doug Legursky and other local athletes. We are looking forward to another inspirational dinner speaker with Rebekah Berg talking about her experience. Sportscaster Fred Persinger will emcee the Post-Tournament Awards Dinner and broadcast his statewide program “Tee to Green” from the Club at 7:00 p.m. Please let your friends know about this opportunity. The attached flyer contains the information about how you can help to sponsor this event or advertise your business by buying a Hole Advertisement or another level of sponsorship. We also will need volunteers to help on the day of the event. Even if you don’t play golf, you can come to help and join the fun.

Please consider coming just to the inspirational dinner. It will be held at 5:30 at Bridgeport Country Club. Cost for the dinner is $45 per person.
