Dear Friends,

Most Americans are very uncomfortable about the idea of abortion, but many of them cling to the notion that abortion must be available for the “hard cases” such as “in the case of rape.”

They are truly compassionate in wanting to provide help to the woman pregnant from rape. However, if we focus on the pregnant woman, the victim of a horrific crime, it becomes clear that abortion is not the loving choice for her or her child.

Bekah’s Story is about Rebekah Berg’s loving response to her child; her recognition that her child is the second victim; and that abortion violently victimizes that innocent person. She chose life for her child and, in doing so, she chose life for herself as well. But, her story demonstrates that abortion is actually the preferred choice of the rapist, because he uses it to hide his crimes.

Bekah’s Story is also about Ryan Bomberger, who says “I’m the 1% that is used all the time to justify 100% of abortions…Abortion activists call me the rapist’s child… When do we ever define an innocent child by the crimes of either parent? This is only necessary to those whose ideology demands the dehumanization of that life to justify killing via abortion.”

Women who chose abortion for their children conceived in rape suffer as much, perhaps more, than all those other women who suffer following their choice of abortion. As Jackie Bakker says, “Contrary to what everyone had told me, the abortion was much harder to deal with than the rape.”

The way to true healing is not through abortion. Please use Bekah’s Story to share the pro-life stories of these incredible people, who teach us that abortion is not the answer to the victims of rape.

Thanks to you, we have been able to produce this beautiful brochure. We hope that it will change hearts and minds. Your contribution has made this possible.
