Who: Geared toward ages 13 through college. ALL ages are welcome.

Where: Lava Avenue Baptist Church, 5 Lava Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003

Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with Grab n Go or Eat In Dinner at 5:00 pm.Pre-registration requested. Walk-ins welcome if seats are available.

Cost:$10 each or $25 per family of 3 or more registration fee

Thomas Dinkel – Teen President for West Virginians for Life and State Captain for Students for Life in West Virginia

Thomas Dinkel is the Teen President for West Virginians for Life and is the State Captain for Students for Life in West Virginia. Thomas and his family have been in the pro-life movement for many years and have always done what they can to advocate for the unborn. Thomas believes that to ensure that Mountaineers are always free we must protect them from conception to natural death. It is his mission in West Virginia and America as a whole to create a culture of life that protects the most vulnerable.

Lacey Evans President of WVFL 

Lacey Evans is a 2010 graduate of Marshall University with a degree in Secondary Education. She attended the National Right to Life Academy in the summer of 2009 along with nine other college-age students. At the Academy, she received in-depth training on the issues and strategy of the pro-life movement. She has given pro-life presentations at West Virginians for Life Conventions and at youth events. She is currently the state president of West Virginians for Life and president of Tucker County Right to Life. She is employed as a business education teacher in Tucker County. She and her husband Josh have been married for nine years and are certified foster parents with the goal of adoption.

Allie Frazier Ohio State Coordinator, Her PLAN

In her role as Ohio Coordinator for Her PLAN, Allie supports and grows Ohio’s pro-life safety net by facilitating collaboration and connections among local assistance providers and organizations that support pregnant and parenting women and families. She organizes state events, visits assistance providers to learn more about their life-affirming work, and connects local providers with other state and national resources across categories of care. Allie brings her experience working in pro-life advocacy, where she strengthened grassroots efforts within Right to Life groups by equipping sidewalk advocacy teams and expanding outreach to include a spectrum of community resources to empower abortion-vulnerable women to choose life for their babies.

Kayla Kessinger State Program Director, Her PLAN

Kayla Kessinger resides in Fayette County, where she works as the State Program Director for Her PLAN – an organization seeking to connect and grow the pro-life safety net for vulnerable women, children, and families around the country. At the age of 21, Kessinger was elected to her first term in the state’s legislature. During her first legislative session, she was recognized as one of the 10 youngest legislators in the country. Kayla has been recognized as one of NewsMax’s 30 under 30 and one of GOPAC’s “Six Republican Women Under 40 to Watch”. She was recognized by West Virginia Living as a West Virginia Wonder Woman in 2018. During her time in the West Virginia House of Delegates, Kayla had the honor of serving as the Assistant Majority Leader and was able to serve the state as the chair of The Committee on Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse. Kayla previously served as The West Virginia Republican National Committee Woman, representing the state on the RNC. She has a BA in Public Administration from Liberty University. Kessinger wrapped up her eight years of service in The West Virginia House of Delegates in 2022 and is now focusing all of her energy on building a stronger prolife safety net for vulnerable moms and babies.

Matthias Knopp Pastor

Matthias Knopp is a life-long resident of Akron, Ohio where he and his wife are raising and educating their seven children together. He is the Senior Pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church (Tallmadge, OH) where he pastors some of the best people in the world. He also writes and has published several books ranging from children’s fiction to adult spiritual education. As a carpenter and owner of a general contracting business, Matthias knows first-hand what it takes to build something from the ground up. His life has been spent in the pursuit of building up warriors for the next generation and describes himself as “the glad patriarch of a gracious and creative tribe.”

Zane Meyer Pastor and Missionary

Zane Meyer is a graduate of Faith Bible Institute (FBI) in Monroe, LA, satellite program. He has been involved in full-time ministry since 2016. His ministry/preaching opportunities have taken him to multiple foreign countries and over 20 states. He is currently the Pastor of Wolfdale Bible Church in Washington, PA, where he has served for 2 years. Zane and his wife, Amanda, have been married for 4 years. They have a 3 year old daughter. Their second child is due to be born in April. Zane is passionate about teaching the Word of God to others.

Randall K. O’Bannon, Ph.D., Director of Education & Research, National Right to Life

RANDALL K. O’BANNON, Ph.D., joined National Right to Life in 1989 and has served as its director of education and research since 1994. Over the past thirty-five years, Dr. O’Bannon has tracked and analyzed the latest abortion statistics, noting differences before and after Dobbs, monitored the activity of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion chain, and studied the risks of chemical and surgical abortion methods, sharing this information in fact sheets, lectures, articles, and interviews. His research and writing were critical to the popular fetology booklet, A Baby’s First Months, and the award-winning DVD short Infinite Possibilities. Dr. O’Bannon is also the director of the National Right to Life Academy, which trains young pro-life activists to be informed and effective advocates for human life at every age, condition, and stage of development. He obtained his doctorate in philosophy (ethics) from Georgetown University in 1998. He and his wife Sandy live in Manassas, VA, where they are active in their church and spend much of their summer weekends weeding their vegetable garden.

Mary H. Tillman, J.D. WV Alliance for Ethical Health Care Legislative Coordinator

Mary Tillman, J.D. is a 1976 graduate of University of Maryland, College Park in Speech Pathology and a 1981 graduate of University of Maryland School of Law. She practiced law until the birth of her third child when she elected to stay home with her children, eventually homeschooling six. She has been active in the right to life movement for over three decades, first becoming involved in testifying against a liberal pro-abortion bill in Maryland. She has served on the board of Life Choice Pregnancy Resource Center in Clarksburg; as the Secretary for the Harrison County Chapter of WVFL; and as Vice President for WVFL. Mary is currently the Legislative Coordinator for the WV Alliance for Ethical Health Care, a subcommittee of WVFL which seeks to change laws and policies to protect the lives of elderly and disabled persons. Mary sings in the choir of her parish; St. Patrick Catholic Church in Weston; teaches piano lessons; and enjoys community theater. She resides in Lost Creek with Mike, her husband of 44 years, who retired from being CEO of United Hospital Center in 2022. They are blessed with five grandchildren, and another on the way.
